The Fax-A-Locate Program is an alternative for multiple locate request customers. This
program offers the option to submit locate requests via a facsimile machine.
The Fax-A-Locate Program requires a 72-hour advance notice, not 48 hours. Excavators fax their locate requests into the JULIE Call Center. JULIE agents enter the request information into the system and fax the excavator's Dig Number back to them. In order to avoid delays, it is important that submitted locate requests be clear and easily understood.
Requirements
1. Must have a facsimile machine.
2. Locate request MUST be
easily understood.
3. Must submit their locate
requests 72 hours or more in advance.
How To Register
Excavators interested in using the Fax-A-Locate Program must first complete a
Registration Form and return it to JULIE, Inc. either by fax or mail as
instructed in the Registration Packet. JULIE staff will review your
request and notify you upon approval.
