2010
Safety Meetings
After a thorough review, JULIE's Regional Excavator Safety Breakfast Meetings
(held in January and February) will not be held in 2010. Information
covered during the breakfast presentations is still available via multiple
methods, including e-newsletters, emergency responder meetings; training
sessions provided by members and on-site presentations.
On-site Presentations
JULIE’s Damage
Prevention Managers are available at no cost to discuss and provide safety and
education presentations to excavators, facility owners or the general public
regarding the one-call process, common marking terms or state law. Classes or
presentations can be tailored to meet the specific educational needs of a
company or group. Training is approved for Drinking Water Certificate
Renewal Credit by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. In
an effort to better serve and educate our member companies and the excavation
community, JULIE, Inc. has three Damage Prevention Managers who cover the state
of Illinois. Our northern, central and southern managers implement
outreach campaigns to the excavating community, our members and the general
public and coordinate and promote the use of JULIE, Inc. between non-members and
member utilities and excavators in Illinois.
For more information or to schedule a presentation, excavators are encouraged to contact a JULIE Damage Prevention Manager in their area directly.
