There are seven major holidays recognized by
all JULIE members. While JULIE operators are available to receive and
process calls on these holidays, member companies usually have crews on-call to
handle emergencies only. Therefore, these days are not included to
determine the 48 hours (two working days) advance notice required by law.

If a holiday is on a Saturday, the previous Friday is observed. If the holiday is on a Sunday, the following Monday is observed.
